  21. Here is a list of ORGANIZATIONAL & Logical Network DISTRIBUTIONS, 
  22. available to Usenet as a whole.  This is NOT a who's who of anything
  23. so there is no honor to be had by being seen here.  It's simply an
  24. attempt to quantify and sort out the mess of publicly known distributions.

  26. This list does not include internal distributions, only public 
  27. distributions that your organization passes around widely.  If you don't 
  28. care who sees your organization's news, then send in your information.
  29. If however your news is private, then don't send your information,
  30. and if you see your distribution here, then ask to have it removed.
  31. If YOU consider it a local or limited distribution, it shouldn't 
  32. be here.  PLEASE BE SOME SORT OF OFFICIAL PERSON when asking to
  33. add or remove organizational distributions here.

  36. it's not complete, nor necessarily correct.  Also, if you note

  58. The "distribution tag" should be lower case.  The others should be upper case 
  59. if and only if they have been defined elsewhere as a distribution.  If 
  60. it *has* been defined, then please use the actual distribution tag.

  62. If a distribution has *not* been defined, then please spell out the name,
  63. in lower case, (DO NOT USE YOUR POSTAL CODE) and mark it with an asterisk (*).
